Apple’s best earbuds yet are likely to jump back up to full price when the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales come to an end.
Right now, the price for the AirPods Pro 2 has dropped massively from £229 to just £179, strangely enough making them the same RRP as the new (but lesser powered) AirPods 4 with ANC.
At that price, every iPhone user owes it to themselves to pick up a pair, or, if you’re looking for a Christmas gift for that Apple fan in your life, this is an easy one to recommend.
US customers will also benefit from over a $95 price drop too, and can nab the AirPods Pro 2 for just $169.99.

The AirPods Pro 2 are seeing a rare price cut in Amazon's Black Friday sale
Speaking from experience, I was gifted a pair of AirPods Pro 2 last Christmas and I’m still just as enamoured with them now as when I first took them out of the box. I had an old pair of LG earbuds beforehand and let me tell you that the jump in sound quality was immense.
Suddenly I was able to hear so much more detail in all of my favourite tracks, and this was only complemented by the powerful active noise cancellation which makes the AirPods Pro 2 a must-have on the commute. With these in tow, I haven’t had to worry about loud trains or airplane engines stopping me from listening to podcasts and audiobooks.
Where the AirPods Pro 2 really come into their own however is with how they integrate into Apple’s ecosystem. If you have an Apple Watch then they’ll automatically pair with the wearable to then be used when out running or when you’re away from your phone, and they’ll also connect to whichever device you’re using in the moment.

For example, if you’re listening to music on your iPhone but then move over to an iPad to watch a film, the AirPods Pro 2 will shift over without you having to change a single thing in the settings. As a show of how to make tech work for you, these earbuds are far in the lead.
There’s no telling exactly when they’ll be jumping back up in price, but it’s very unlikely that the deal will still be here after Cyber Monday, so if you’re at all tempted then now’s the time to pounce, or risk paying full price.
