Amazon’s Prime Day sales extravaganza goes on for four days which means there’s plenty of deals to keep you occupied, but this price cut on an LG OLED might be the highlight as far as TV deals go.
The LG OLED48C4 has dropped from its £899 asking to £649, which in our eyes meets the requirement of being an absolute bargain.

It’s easily the lowest price Amazon has ever sold the TV for, so if you’re looking for a high quality OLED TV in a small size, you should stop reading this post and click that link above.
The OLED48C4 isn’t the most current model from LG, this TV being from the 2024 range. But don’t let that dissuade you from taking a look at this TV.
It offers a similar performance to the bigger models in the range (although it can’t go as bright because of its size), but features across the series are similar.
You get four HDMI 2.1 inputs all of which support gaming features such as ALLM, VRR and high frame rates up to 144Hz (if you’re a PC gamer). Input lag for gaming is fast at 13ms and 9ms with the Boost mode enabled, for a smooth and fast gaming performance.
For film fans there’s Dolby Vision and Filmmaker Mode support for viewing your favouirte films and TV series in the way the filmmaker intended them to be seen. You’ve got all the main streaming apps, from Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV+, NOW and more; while there’s also the UK catch-up apps such as iPlayer, ITVX and Channel 4 to binge the latest TV shows.
Don’t expect too much from the sound system but it does support Dolby Atmos sound system. Giving the savings you’re making on the TV, it’d be wise to consider adding a compact soundbar during the Prime Day event.
We didn’t review the OLED48C4 so we can’t comment on its quality, but it’s rare that we come across an LG OLED TV that isn’t one we’d recommend. Though this is a 2024 model, if you’ve waited for a great deal on last year’s LG TVs, this is the one you’ve been waiting for.
