That is by far the lowest price they’ve fallen on Amazon, where previously they had dropped to £69.
We have reviewed the Galaxy Buds FE, awarding them 3.5 stars towards the end of 2023. While they weren’t a recommendation at their original, this discount would make them a more interesting option, especially if you have a Samsung Galaxy smartphone to pair them with.
That’s because the Galaxy Buds FE come with exclusive features that only work with the Galaxy smartphone series, such as the SSC Bluetooth codec that can transmit high quality audio from the smartphone to the buds for a better audio experience.
The noise-cancelling performance is quite good for the price, putting a stop to outside sounds being a distraction. The ambient mode isn’t the clearest we’ve heard, but it was comfortable to use without causing any notable issues.
Sound quality is more towards the lows, so if you enjoy a bass-heavy tone these are wireless earbuds for you. The overall tuning we found to be solid enough, but bass hounds will likely enjoy Samsung and AKG’s approach to the sound more than others.
They’re comfortable to wear too, a claim that shouldn’t be discounted when looking for a new pair of earbuds as comfort is an area that affect many people’s experience.
For anyone with a Samsung Galaxy smartphone looking to pick a headphone partner to go with it, then the Galaxy Buds FE is a little bargain for Prime Day.
